Prem Ya Paheli Chandrakanta Cast – Know the Real Names & Background of the Characters!

Popular novel Chandrakanta written by Devaki Nandan Khatri is being shown in the form of TV series yet again. Directed by Nikhil Sinha (of Siya Ke Ram fame), Prem Ya Paheli Chandrakanta is an intriguing serial with lots of glam, VFX and drama.

Kritika Kamra as Princess Chandrakanta in Prem Ya Paheli Chandrakanta

The Ananya Kashyap of Reporters and the host of MTV Webbed, Kritika Kamra is back on TV as princess Chandrakanta.

Since she is doing fantasy fiction for the very first time, she has done immense homework. Her debut show was Yahan Ke Hum Sikander in 2007 and was seen opposite Karan Kundra in Kitani Mohabbat Hai.

Gaurav Khanna as Virendra Singh

He made his debut with Bhabhi and was also seen in Kkumkum as Sherman Wadhwa. Here in Prem Ya Paheli Chandrakanta, Gaurav plays the role of Chunagarh’s most dreaded warrior Virendra Singh who will eventually fall in love with Princess Chandrakanta.

Sudesh Berry as the Antagonist Marich

Sudesh Berry is playing the evil Marich who kills King Harshvardhan and his wife. A veteran actor, he has done several Bollywood films as well as TV shows (historical fictions, mythology as well as daily soaps). Recently he was seen as Dhrupad in Star Plus’ Mahabharat and as Parshuram in Siya Ke Ram.

Ankit Arora as Shivdutt

He played the role of Lakshman in NDTV Imagine’s Ramayan and won everybody’s heart. Next, he was seen as Rajkumar Sushim in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat and people appreciated his acting skills as a villain. Here too he plays an antagonist and is quite a charm.

Harsh Vashisht as Jai Singh

Chandan Anand as Kroor Singh

A theater artist from Bhopal who was also seen in Bhage Re Mann is now playing Kroor Singh. The Chandrakanta of the 90s was known for its Kroor Singh and his Yacko.

Chandan Anand surely has a lot of pressure on him but he’s confident that he’ll woo the audience in Life Ok’s Chandrakanta.
