Eat a healthy diet

Nutrition is fundamental for great vision. There is a wide range of nutrients that are required for healthy eyes, including:

  • Vitamin A, which is found in carrots, red, orange, and yellow peppers, and sweet potatoes.
  • Vitamin C, which you can find in cities fruits, strawberries, and red and yellow peppers.
  • Vitamin E, which is in plant oils, seeds, and nuts.
  • Copper, which is found in foods such as avocados, nuts, dark chocolate, and spinach.
  • Zinc, a mineral that is abundant in pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, chickpeas, and oysters.
  • Omega-3 fatty acids, which are abundant in oily fish, avocados, nuts, nut butters, and seeds.

Practice Eye Exercises

There are lots of muscles surrounding the eyes and just like any other muscle in your body, they can be trained and strengthened. To maintain healthy eyes and great vision, you can practice regular eye exercises.
