While Shah accused the opposition of politicizing the security breach, Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged the seriousness of the incident and called for a collective solution. Despite the suspension of opposition MPs, no action has been taken against BJP MP Pratap Simha, who facilitated passes for those involved in the security breach.
