As Secretary of Bhola Institutional Trust, Dr. Kumar has built one of the most impactful educational and social organizations in Eastern India. The trust operates as a national-level voluntary organization dedicated to providing scientific and technological support for rural development.
Under his leadership, it runs secondary-level schools in Hindi, English, and Sanskrit mediums, supported by the Jharkhand State Board. The trust also manages JMSMC Nursing Service, known for its professional excellence and humanitarian approach. The Bhola Trust’s programs bridge knowledge with technology—transforming marginalized rural communities from passive beneficiaries into active partners in development. The trust is also known to facilitate the studies of students pursuing archery.
SAAN Foundation, Ranchi
As Chairman of SAAN Foundation, Dr. Kumar focuses on two pressing issues—education for underprivileged students and unemployment. The foundation provides scholarships, job-oriented training, and community support programs.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, the SAAN Foundation distributed daily rations to affected families—demonstrating Dr. Kumar’s ability to mobilize institutional resources swiftly during crises. His foundation’s twin approach—education and employment—targets the root causes of poverty and inequality.
