30 year old Vivek hails from the northern city of Chandigarh. Few years ago, Vivek wasn’t even sure whether he would be an actor one day. A bank analyst by profession, he worked in IT Park Chandigarh like any other Business personnel. However, everything changed in the year 2011, when he won the Modelle de Lannee (Mr. Chandigarh), Vivek then started modeling. He got so involved in his new found passion that he soon shifted his base from Chandigarh to Delhi, and even started working with various designers.
Acting – From an extra-curricular activity to a full time profession
When in Delhi, Vivek’s friends suggested him to try acting too. He started acting as an extra-curricular activity. However, soon he knew he wanted to act in TV. Next, he moved to Mumbai from Delhi and gave auditions. Following which, he bagged his first role in an episodic role in Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui. However, his claim to fame was Star Plus’ show Veera where he was seen as Rajeev Thakur – A baddie who could go to any extremes to get what he desires.
