The disclosure of this data by the ECI, following SBI’s submission of a compliance affidavit as instructed by the Supreme Court, marks the most extensive revelation to date regarding the controversial electoral bond scheme, which previously guaranteed complete anonymity to donors. On February 15, the scheme was deemed “unconstitutional” by the court and subsequently abolished.
