There is a new entry in Siddharth Kumar Tewary’s serial Dosti Yaariyan Manmarziyan. The entire Khanna family is happy because their family member Manya is back from Australia. She is Samrat (Mohan Kapoor) and Piyali’s (Kavita Ghai) youngest daughter and Sam’s baby sister.
While, it is good to see the onscreen bonding between the Khannas, there is an off screen bonding too.
Well, it seems that Manya (Orvana Ghai) is the real daughter of Piyali Khanna (Kavita Ghai). So, there is both onscreen as well as off screen bonding on the sets of Dosti Yaariyan Manmarziyan.

Orvana Ghai was Not the Original Choice for Manya
It’s been a year since Orvana gave auditions for the role. However, she was not selected. The original choice for the role of Manya was Garima Jain. However, when the time came for Garima to join the sets, she was not available. And that is when Orvana was approached as she was the second choice for the role.
The moment she got the news, she flew down from Delhi to Mumbai. While, Orvana was excited her mother Kavita too couldn’t control the level of excitement to work with her real daughter. During her first shoot, Kavita Ghai aka Piyali Khanna simply hid behind the curtains so that Orvana didn’t become nervous. The two are yet to share the screen space, but looks like they will surely burn the screen with their hotness.
Who is Orvana Ghai?
This is her first TV serial. She is a fashion enthusiasts and a blogger. She is an ocassional writer as well. Orvana has co-written a book with the best seller author Durjoy Dutta – “You Were My Crush.” In addition, she has also edited an anthology “25 Strokes of Kindness” with another author Nikita Singh.
This time it seems, she is trying her luck in acting and also making an effort to gain Neil’s attention 😉
