Paras Kalnawat was born on November 9, 1996 in Nagpur. His father’s name is Bhushan Kalnawat, and his mother is Anita Kalnawat. He has an elder sister, Pragati Kalnawat Sharma. Paras did his schooling as well as graduation (B.Com – SK Somaiya) in Nagpur but then later moved to Mumbai to earn dancing from Terence Lewis Dance Academy.

Paras started his career in 2016 as a model, and in 2017, he made his acting debut with a small role in the show Aye Zindagi. His big break came later that year when he landed the lead role of Sanjay Singh Ahlawat in the StarPlus show Meri Durga. He stayed with the show until it ended in 2018.
