The lies from the BJP guys on National Media sure keep me busy looking for facts.

Yogi Adityanath just made a statement in the Media, that the UP health care is far better than the Kerala Health Care and that “Kerala should learn from UP how to run the hospitals”

*Sigh* fir muh khol ke bakwaas kar di na??

Chalo, no worries. Tum jhooth pe jhooth bolte raho, hum sach ka aaina dikhate rahenge.

Here are the facts, all which can be verified from the official Govt. of India website for National Vector Borne Disease Control Programme. (NVBDCP)

The NVBDCP lists 6 diseases which they have been tracking, which are Malaria, Dengue, Filaria, Kala Azar, Japanese Encephalitis (AES/JE) and Chikungunya.

On the website, the information of cases found of Filaria is missing and the information for Chikungunya shows only the affected cases and no deaths.

So I have taken data for only the rest of the four diseases as a cause of deaths and compared between Kerala and Uttar Pradesh in the last three years (2015 – 2017) and here is what I found:

In Kerala, total deaths due to these 4 diseases:

2015 —— 33
2016 —— 20
2017 —— 31 (provisional record till Aug 17)

Total in 3 years: 84 deaths.

In Uttar Pradesh, total deaths due to these 4 diseases:

2015 —- 530
2016 —- 736
2017 —- 234 (provisional record till Aug 17)

Total deaths in 3 years: 1500

Now regarding Chikungunya, though there are no deaths reported on the website, there are a number of affected cases and that is as under:

Kerala total cases (no recorded deaths) from 2015 to Aug 2017 = 371
Uttar Pradesh total cases (no recorded deaths) from 2015 to Aug 2017 = 2509

So, now I am not sure what Kerala actually has to learn from Uttar Pradesh …. how to let their patients die??

You can verify the figures from here:
