With the country reeling under scorching heat amidst the summer sun, everybody is going berserk and rushing indoors. Switching on the ACs and coolers, people seem to be resting either in their rooms or working comfortably in their offices.
In fact, there was a joke on social media that the biggest motivation to work during a summer season is the Office AC.

However, amidst this scorching heat and sweat, there is a certain class of people who work non-stop facing the sun and making our lives easy and effortless because of their services. This is the reason, the #famestars decided to Feel The Heat and Pain of all those people who work on the streets to make their living. By giving an ode to these hardworking people, who sweat it out in the absolute high temperature, here’s how the #famestars expressed their gratitude in the #GivingWeek by sweating it out in the heat while they were captured live on #fame – the live entertainment app!
#famestars Shreya as Kela Waali and Niyati as Sabji Waali
Despite the odd heat, we do get our vegetables and fruits timely. Thanks to the fruit and vegetable vendors that run their stalls and thellas and ensure that we get our daily quota of fruits and vegetables. Two of the #famestars decided to #FeelTheHeat by living a life like them for half an hour. While Shreya helped the “Kela vendor” by moving his cart and selling bananas, Niyati became the sabzi walli. Through Shreya and Niyati, we witness how tedious it is for any street vendor to make a living in the heat who is not sure whether his effort will indeed give him a decent income for the day.

Akansha as Chole Paratha Waali and Shamayal As Pav Bhaji Waali
One cannot even stand beside a stove in a temperature as hot as 40 degrees, forget making rotis and parathas on the tava. However, here we have the Paratha wallas and Pav Bhaji Waalahs who constantly cook and serve the entire area some tasty, yummy parathas and cholle during the lunch time.

Abhilasha as Maali
Gardners work continuously in the heat worrying more about the plant and less about themselves. So, Abhilasha tried to be a maali for half an hour and she couldn’t stop appreciating their efforts.
Waqaur as a Construction Worker
Construction workers work day in and day out in direct sun. We often look at them and wonder how can they be so strong to withstand so much pain and heat. Waqaur as construction worker showed us how we owe them a lot as to #FeelTheHeat like them is no less than going to a war.

Deepak as Photographer
It isn’t easy to stand at the Gate Way of India all day long and literally move from one person to another to offer your photography service. Yet, the photographers try their luck each time they see tourists. Deepak who posed as a photographer in a way proved that though it is easy to shun them way, it is hard to do their job even for half an hour.

A true ode to these street super heroes, Fame stars not only appreciated their efforts but also gave them goody bag enclosing Glucon D, a cap and a packet of dry fruits – making them feel important.
