Over Two decades, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa has opened the doors to the industry for some of the India’s most outstanding musical talent including Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Kunal Ganjawala, Shekhar Ravjiani and Kamal Khan.
No wonder, the music talent show has been a game changer and is prominent as a brand that has always showcased the highest caliber of talent that no other singing reality show has been able to match upto till yet. It always broke out of its category cliché and convention with every season. This year too we anticipate witnessing some of the booming talents
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2016 – The Quest to Find the Voices of Tomorrow!
The hunt in the current season of the reality singing competition is to find the voices of tomorrow i.e. the most unique voices that will truly represent contemporary India. The much revered music platform has evolved its format over the years from episodic winners to a pyramid structure, and its latest season has introduced a panel of 30 jury members from the music fraternity to evaluate the contestants.
The jury represents different components of today’s music scene from DJs to music producers to singers, arrangers and lyricists with each of the contestants being evaluated from 30 different musical perspectives. So, this season, the challenge only gets tougher.
The Mentors & Host of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2016
The current season sees three acclaimed music personalities from the industry – Mika Singh, Sajid Wajid and Pritam Chakraborti as Mentors to the contestants who will add value to their journey of growth as singers. The host for the season is Aditya Narayan.
