Whether you’re dealing with heartbreak, career confusion, or emotional burnout, Aishwarya’s cards don’t just tell the future — they guide you to understand your present.
In this exclusive interview, tarot reader Aishwarya Dhyani opens up about her journey, how tarot works, myths surrounding the craft, and why intuitive healing is becoming more relevant in today’s chaotic world.
Q1: Aishwarya, tell us how your journey into tarot reading began. Was it a calling or a coincidence?
It was definitely a calling. I’ve always been intuitive — even as a child, I could sense people’s emotions deeply. But it wasn’t until my early twenties, during a phase of personal emotional turmoil, that I turned to tarot for answers. What started as a personal exploration slowly grew into a practice. The cards felt like mirrors, showing not just the future, but patterns I needed to break. Soon, friends began asking for readings, and that’s how it all began — very organically.
Q2: For someone who’s never had a tarot session before, how would you explain what it really is?
Tarot isn’t fortune-telling in the typical, filmy way. It’s a form of intuitive guidance. Think of it as a conversation between your subconscious and universal energy — with the cards acting as translators. Each card has symbolic meanings, and when pulled in a spread, they narrate your current energy, obstacles, patterns, and possible outcomes based on your path. It’s less about “what will happen” and more about “what’s happening and how can I shift it.”
Q3: What kind of issues or queries do people usually come to you with?
The most common ones are love and relationships, career crossroads, and emotional healing. But I also get questions about spiritual growth, life purpose, and even past life connections. I’ve done readings for people going through breakups, job loss, infertility struggles, and identity crises. The beauty of tarot is that it gently holds space for all questions — big or small.

Q4: Are there any myths you’d like to bust about tarot reading?
Oh, so many! (laughs) First — tarot is not evil, satanic, or dark. It’s just a spiritual tool. Second, it doesn’t “decide” your fate — you do. The cards reflect possibilities based on your energy. And third, a tarot reader isn’t a mind-reader. We tune into energy, not spy on your life. Also, one reading won’t “fix” your life — it’s a process.
Q5: Can tarot be therapeutic or healing, apart from predictive?
Absolutely. Most of my sessions are less about predictions and more about emotional clarity. I combine tarot with intuition and sometimes journaling prompts or guided affirmations. Many of my clients say they feel lighter, clearer, and more empowered after a reading. Tarot opens doors to inner dialogue — and that, to me, is deeply healing.
Q6: How do you protect your own energy while reading for others?
That’s a powerful question. I ground myself before every session with breathwork or crystals like black tourmaline. I also cleanse my deck regularly and set intentions. But more importantly, I’ve learned not to carry clients’ energy with me once the session ends. Boundaries are sacred when you work in the intuitive space.
Q7: With tarot becoming trendy on social media, do you think it’s being diluted or misused?
There’s both light and shadow in that. I love that tarot is reaching more people, especially Gen Z, who are open to self-reflection. But yes, quick daily card pulls or “pick a card” reels can be misleading without context. Tarot isn’t entertainment — it’s energy work. I always say, follow readers who feel ethical, grounded, and heart-centered.
Q8: Any memorable client story that really touched you as a Tarot Reader, Aishwarya Dhyani?
There are many, but one that stands out is a woman who came for a reading after three failed IVF attempts. She was shattered. The cards showed a new timeline — one that included joy and unexpected motherhood. A year later, she sent me a picture of her adopted baby girl. She said the reading gave her hope when she had none. I still get goosebumps.
Q9: What advice would you give someone looking to get their first tarot reading?
Come with an open heart. Don’t expect dramatic revelations, but stay receptive to whatever guidance flows through. Ask specific questions instead of “what’s my future?” Also, understand that tarot doesn’t take away your responsibility — it simply shines a light on the path.
Q10: What’s next for you? Any new offerings or projects in the pipeline?
Yes! I’m working on my own online workshop — a course for those who want to learn how to use tarot for personal growth. Stay tuned!
