Yesterday’s episode made me lose faith in Dosti Yaariyan Manmarziyan and I shall tell you my criticism and hope the makers of the serial take a note about it:

I’m a fan of Dosti Yaariyan Manmarzian from Sri Lanka and have been a regular viewer for quite some time. Even though the show started off with a girl’s struggle to achieve her financial independence and her goals, somehow I feel like the storyline has lost its way amid the cruel intentions of Nandini.
I’m happy that Star Plus decided to launch a show that captures younger generation and motivate them to move forward in a career before marriage. I belong to the targeted generation of this show even though I am from a different country. We are more ambitious and want to achieve our dreams before making a commitment such as marriage.
Nandini’s Wicked Drama is Spoiling the Essence of Dosti Yaariyan Manmarziyan
Your show has great potential to become one of the best tv shows out there but if this storyline continues, then I am afraid you will lose a strong young audience. You may have wanted to be unique, however the wicked schemes by Nandini’s character only makes it, like any other drama out there.
At the beginning it appeared to be a very realistic approach, with a girl who comes to Mumbai to fulfill her dreams. What is unrealistic is Nandini’s daily evil planning. What’s more, the twist of turning Samaira against Radhika also happens to be somewhat a boring chapter as in reality, people do not tend to doubt friendship so easily.
Let Dosti Yaariyan Manmarziyan Be About the Protagonists’ Career & Life Rather Than Just Relationships
Our generation has strong bonding with the opposite sexes and it never in any way cloud one’s judgement of a friend in just only 24 hours. I’m sure most of the audience would agree with me when I say that I want to see how Radhika and her friends work within the office environment.
You could’ve stayed true the title itself and show how Radhika, the main protagonist, handles clients and projects. Also how each individual main characters move further in their careers. She came from Mumbai because she does not want to commit to a relationship at the moment but solely focus on her future, which you seem to have forgotten.
Time to End Arjun’s Struggle
Coming to Arjun, I have to admit the main reason why I continue to watch is this character. I love the struggle he has within himself, questioning the motives and realizing slowly what is good and what is bad. Aham Sharma portrays Arjun excellently.
Nevertheless his continuous struggle has become somewhat boring and in my personal opinion it is high time to finish this chapter of Nandini’s revenge at the very earliest and move on with the real storyline of Dosti Yaariyan Manmarziyan.
Let The Audience Connect With The Show – Please Don’t Let Nandini Ruin It
All four characters and their realistic struggles must be portrayed in a way the younger audience can relate to. If and when the audience relate to the story, then of course the ratings of the show will reach a higher number.
I sincerely hope, that there will be changes in the show very soon. If not, I fear the show will be lose its original charm.
