When Does FlyBig Airlines Start Operating in India?
A new entrant in the aero industry FlyBig (M/s Big Charters Pvt. Ltd) took it’s very first flight on January 3, 2021 from Indore (Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport) to Ahemdabad (Sardar Vallabhbhai International Airport) and back. So, it is already operating in India as a domestic airline.

Currently, FlyBig is flying to these destinations in India –

In the coming months, FlyBig will connect to various cities in various states of India. The airline has been awarded contract for Delhi-Shillong air routes. When Will the Daily Operation of FlyBig Start?
Until January 17, 2021, this domestic airline will operate thrice a week and then it will become five times a week till February 15, 2021. After that, this newest aero startup of India will fly on a daily basis. The daily operation of FlyBig will start from Mid-February 2021.
Is the Latest Indian Airline Safe to Travel?
The airlines received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) and Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) from the Ministry of Civil Aviation on December 14, 2020. Also, now that the airline has bagged a lot of North-East routes and did complete its first flight operation from Delhi-Shillong successfully on December 21, it is quite evident that it is indeed quite safe to travel in it. Besides, the Airlines also did a charity flight for specially abled kids on 31st December 2020.
Who is the Founder of FlyBig – India’s New Domestic Airlines?
FlyBig is founded by a pilot turned aviator entrepreneur Sanjay Mandavia who is also a founder of FSTC – Flying Stimulation Technique Center with its training center in Gurugram and Hyderabad. It was Sanjay Mandavia who had lost bid to acquire Jet Airways. He had plans to merge Jet Airways and FlyBig. FlyBig’s CEO is Capt. Srinivas Rao – he holds a masters degree in aviation management and has around 32-years experience in the aero industry.
Will You Get Food to Eat while Flying with FlyBig Airlines?
Since the timings of the travel will be less, FlyBig will only provide the travelers with packed snacks. So, you will get food in the plan in the form of cold snacks only.
