Abu Dhabi is a huge city with lots of things to do and see. With that being said, it is important to have excellent travel safety knowledge before traveling there. This article will help you understand things to know before traveling to Abu Dhabi so that you can feel confident when exploring this new destination.

Where to stay

Abu Dhabi has a lot of hotels, but not all of them are good options for travelers. If you’re looking for something affordable, look no further than the InterContinental Abu Dhabi or the Hilton Abu Dhabi. If you have a little more money to spend, check out the Emirates Palace. These hotels have great amenities like pools, fitness centers, and plenty of restaurant options within walking distance of the hotel. You can even stay in one of their villas!

How to get around

If you’re in Abu Dhabi, make the most of your time by visiting the emirate’s world-class attractions. You can do so by utilizing taxis, buses, and rental services to get you to your desired location. Depending on where you stay, some attractions are also within walking distance.

Where to eat

There are so many options in Abu Dhabi that you’ll never get bored. But here are a few places we recommend.

The best place to eat is at one of the local restaurants. These places offer everything from soups to seafood dishes and traditional Arabic cuisine. You can find them all over town, as well as in shopping malls and on the marina. The best part about them is that they are generally very affordable, so even if you’re on a tight budget you won’t have to worry about leaving hungry!

Dress code

It’s important to dress modestly when visiting the UAE because of its strict laws regarding clothing and public behavior. If you’re visiting during Ramadan (the Muslim holy month), be sure to wear loose-fitting clothes that cover your arms and legs completely; women should also wear a headscarf or hijab (head covering).

When to go

April through November are the best months for the weather in Abu Dhabi. The temperatures are usually mild during this time and there aren’t many rainy days—but don’t forget to pack an umbrella! If you are planning a trip to Abu Dhabi explore KLM Royal Dutch Booking to avail air tickets at cheaper rates.

What to buy

You’ll find many souvenirs in Abu Dhabi’s souks (markets), especially at Deira Souq. Check out local shops for things like local handmade jewelry and pottery. You can also buy clothes made from traditional materials like silk or wool. If you’re looking for more upscale shopping, head over to Dubai Mall or the Mall of Emirates instead!

How to spend an afternoon

Take a day trip out of town and visit Al Ain National Museum or Al Ain Archaeology Museum. These museums are open all year round so you can see them whenever you want!

Cultural Tips

The people of Abu Dhabi are a warm and welcoming bunch. They love to socialize, and they have a strong sense of community. If you’re looking for a place where people are open to meeting new people and making new friends, this is the place for you.

It’s also home to some of the most beautiful mosques in all of the UAE. The women wear full-length robes and headscarves, which is something you’ll rarely see in other parts of the country.

You’ll find lots of local cuisines, including shawarma (kebabs on pita bread), lahmajun (lamb cooked in yogurt sauce), falafel (fried chickpeas), tabbouleh salad with parsley, tomatoes, and mint leaves; sambusak (rice stuffed with vegetables); and more!

The main thing to keep in mind is that you’ll want to do a little research before you book your trip to Abu Dhabi via KLM Royal Dutch Booking or others. The internet is great for that, and you can find plenty of reliable resources online. Be sure to check the weather, learn about local customs, and any cultural considerations that might affect your visit. With those things out of the way, you’ll be able to focus on having a good time while you’re there.

For anyone wanting to visit Abu Dhabi and the UAE in general, I hope this has been a useful resource. The emirate is a popular tourist spot thanks to its year-round sunshine, swaying palm trees, beautiful beaches, and interesting culture. From the UAE’s towering skyscrapers to stunning museums, it’s truly an unforgettable place.
