The underdog and very under estimated Hati Ram has been brilliantly portrayed by Jaideep Ahlawat for which he has been drawing a lot of appreciation across the platforms. Over the years, Jaideep who is a Haryanvi Jat in real life too have done several Bollywood movies.
We saw him as Shahid Khan in Anurag Kashyap’s Gang of Wasseypur, Khalid Mir in Raazi, Saalim in Vishwapooram, Naaem in Raees along with other movies. He made his Bollywood debut in 2010 as Pappu Tiwari in Aakrosh. This is his second web-series after Bard of Blood (Netflix 2019) and viewers are already comparing him with the likes of Manoj Bajpai.
Ishwak Singh as Imran Ansari
The simple sweet innocent and cute Ansari is the character you immediately fall for and cheers to Ishwak Singh for playing it so well. Ishwak is the same boy ‘Nirmal’ who Sonam Kapoor calls ‘Mother Lover’ in Veere Di Wedding and as Aditya in Malaal. He made his debut in 2013 with the movie Ranjahana where he is seen playing the role of a doctor from Lucknow. He was also seen in 2015 movie Aligarh where he essayed the role of Aditya Narayan.
Neeraj Kabi as Sanjeev Mehra
We all hate him as Parulkar from Sacred Games and thanks to his flawless acting we also aren’t much of a fan of his character’s shades in Paatal Lok. No wonder, Neeraj Kabi is a fabulous theatre actor applauded for his acting both in Indian and International films. He was seen as Mahatma Gandhi in Shyam Benegal’s TV series Samvidhaan and have done films including Hichki, Talvar, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and The Ship of Theseus.
Abhishek Banerjee as Hathoda Tyagi urf Vishal Tyagi
A popular face on OTT, Abhishek Banerjee over the years have known for his characters he played in several web-series. Before rocking it as Hathoda Tyagi in Paatal Lok cast, he was applauded for his role of equally crazy Subodh aka Compounder in Mirzapur. He was also seen as Bhatti in TVF Pitcher and Fakeer in Typewriter.
