The annual Dadasaheb Phalke Icon awards 2021 was held recently in Andheri, Mumbai where prominent faces from the glam and the TV world were honoured for their notable contribution and work in their respective fields.
Prominent fashion designer Vishal Kapoor who recently won the Lokmat Lifestyle Icon 2020 award bagged the fashion designer award while several of the TV awards were won by team Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Interestingly, the award ceremony also saw the presence of famous Bollywood personalities including Mukesh Bhatt, Poonam Dhillon and Abhishek Dudhaiya (Bhuj Director).

Having running annual Miss, Mr. Mrs. Face Of Panache Runway & PANACHE IMAGE AWARDS along with Queen’s League awards, Mr. Kapoor has worked for several fashion projects nationally as well as Internationally with various famous names including Aditi Govitrikar, Arbaaz Khan, Kalki Koechlin, Zareen Khan, Vaquar Sheikh and Zeenat Aman. Few days ago the renowned fashion designer also received another award from Hon. Governor Of Maharashtra Shri Bhagat Singh Singh Koshyari Ji.
In the TV segment, serial Anupamaa bagged the most awards. From Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna (fans favourite #MaAn) to Sudhanshu Pandey, Madalsa Sharma and Alpana Buch, the show received the maximum numbers – not to forget the Director of the show Romesh Kalra as well. Serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai leading stars Harshad Chopda, Pranali Rathod and Karishma Samant bagged the awards too.
