Siya Ke Ram is an Indian TV Serial based on the mythology Ramayana. Starting from the childhood of Ram and even Sita, the show is covering almost all the unexplored areas of Ramayana. Interestingly, for the first time, we even get to see Lord Rama’s sister Shanta in the serial.
Produced by Triangle Film Company and written by Anand Neelakantan the serial tries to show us some of the unknown areas of the Indian Mythology Ramayana.

Ashish Sharma as Lord Ram
Last seen in TV serial Rangrasiya along with Sanaya Irani, Ashish Sharma started his career in 2010 with Hindi film ‘Love, Sex aur Dhokha’. Post that, he shifted to TV and was seen in Imagine TV’s Gunahon ka Devta.

A year later he got the chance to play the role of Chandragupta Maurya in the TV serial Chandragupta Maurya. This is the reason why viewers wanted him to essay the role of elder Ashoka in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat as well. Besides being a good actor he is also a good dancer. He is the winner of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7.
Madirakshi Mundle as Sita
This is Madirakshi’s very first TV serial. She started acting last year and debuted in a Telugu film Ori Devudoy. If sources are to be believed then the role of Sita first went to Mrunal Thakur popularly known as Bulbul of Kumkum Bhagya.

Karan Suchak as Lakshman
Remember Shekhar of Pavitra Rishta, the lawyer seen with Pari? Well, that’s Karan Suchak who is essaying the role of Lakshman in Siya Ke Ram. He has done several roles in the past in various serials including Ek Haazaron Mai Meri Behna Hai, Savitri, Maharakshak (as Narada) and Mahabharat where he essayed the role of Draupadi’s brother Dhrishtadyumna.
Yukti Kapoor as Urmila
This is her debut serial. She was earlier seen in a social movie titled ‘ Uvaa’ directed by Jasbir Bhaati. Her character was called as Roshni in the film. Here, Yukti Kapoor plays the bubbly Urmila.
Bijay Anand as Raja Janak
Remember Kajol’s love interest in the film Pyaar toh Ho Na Hi Tha – The guy for whom Kajol runs from one place to other? Well, that’s Bijay Anand who has returned to acting after two decades as Raja Janak. He is currently a Yoga teacher and trains students in India as well as abroad.

Dilip Tahil as Raja Dashrath
Dilip Tahil is a veteran actor whom we have grown up watching. Qayamat Se Qyamat Tak, Tridev, Deewana, Baazigar, Hum Hai Rahi Pyaar Ke, King Uncle, Darr, Judwaa, Ghulam etc. are some of the many Bollywood films that he has done in the past. Dilip Tahil was also seen in two of the most popular TV serials of the past – Sanjay Khan’s The Sword of Tipu Sultan and Ramesh Sippy’s Buniyaad.
Bhargavi Chirmule as Sunaina – Sita’s Mother
A Marathi TV actress, Bhargavi Chirmule has done several Marathi films, TV serials and Plays on stage. Interestingly, in 2010, Bhargavi also got to work with bug Marathi actors like Sachin Pilgaonkar and Ashok Saraf in the Marathi film ‘Ideachi Kalpana’. Snigdha Akolkar as Kaushalya
Again a Marathi actress, Snigdha has been doing Hindi and Marathi serials from 2001. In 2005, Snigdha rose to fame after debuting in Sahara One’s TV serial Haare Kkaanch KI Choodiyan. Post that, she shifted to Kollywood to do Tamil films. Rajadhi Raja, Nandalala, and Love You…Mr Kalakar are some of the films she did in the past. Currently, she is also shooting for the upcoming film – Appavin Meesai.
Sampada Vaze as Sumitra
Sampada started her career in modeling. She has done many ads and was a poster girl for various brands. Interestingly, Sampada in the past also hosted the popular show Saas, Bahu aur Saazish and was seen in two other serials – Pyaar Ki Kashti Mein and Rishto Ki Dorr.
Grusha Kapoor as Kaikeyi
A well-known face, Grusha Kapoor essayed the role of an evil mother-in-law Lalita Devi in Star Plus’ Kehta Hai Dil. She was also seen in some of the 90s Bollywood films – Janam Samjha Karo, Shakti, Hawa and Tantrik.
Sujay Reu as Bharath
Sujay Reu essayed the role of Helly Shah’s husband in her first TV serial – Alaxmi Ka Super Parivaar. It aired on Life Ok in 2012-13.
Zalak Desai as Shanta
Zalak is the daughter of Gujarati actress Falguni Desai. She has done several TV serials in the past including Saajan Ghar Jaana Hai, Muh Boli Shaadi, and Hum Aapke Ghar Rehte Hain.
Kaarthik Jayaram as Ravana
Kaarthik is a Kannada TV and film actor who has done several Kannada films such as Kempe Gowda, Vishnuvardhana, Eega, Varadanayaka, Bengaluru 560023 and Care of Footpath.
