Our mind and awareness is our most prized possession. No wonder what, it is always with us. However, the most remarkable powers of the mind will be ours if and only we learn how to use it. There are basically two levels of our mind – the conscious or the objective/rational mind and the subconscious or the subjective/irrational mind. We normally tend to think with our objective or the conscious mind and whatever we consistently think sinks down into our subjective or the subconscious mind; which then formulates on the basis of our thoughts. Our subconscious mind is the creative mind, it the throne of our feelings, reactions, and sentiments. If we think bad, bad things will follow; if we think good, good things will follow. This is how our mind works.

Here in the article, we will now share –

The Differences Between the Conscious and the Subconscious Mind

First thing first, the conscious and subconscious are not two different minds but simply two spheres of activity within a single mind. While, the conscious mind reasons, the subconscious simply accept that which is impressed upon it or what the person consciously believe in. Unlike the conscious mind, the subconscious neither reason things nor argues controversially. In fact, it simply acts as a bed of soil ready to nourish any seed that you sow, good or bad.

In addition, the subconscious never engage in proving your thoughts to be true or false. It simply responds as per your suggestions or nature of thought. For instance, if you assume consciously that something is true, even though it maybe false, your subconscious mind will accept it as true. And no sooner than your subconscious accepts a thought or an idea, it proceeds to put it into action immediately.

This is exactly how ordinary people are turning into billionaires, college dropouts are building giant organizations, obese people are becoming fit, and most importantly cancer patients and people with the fatal disease are recovering as if there has been some kind of miracle. This is nothing but the power of the subconscious, the impersonal, non-selective and totally unbiased mind that accepts whatever you feed into it.

This is the reason why it is so important to select ideas, thoughts, and premises that bless, heal, inspire and fulfill your soul with happiness and joy.

Why Is The Conscious Mind Objective and the Subconscious, the Subjective Mind?

Your mind that thinks consciously is referred as an objective mind mainly because it deals with the outward objects and is well aware of the objective world, something that is our guide when in contact with the world. Now that the five senses are the media of observation of the objective mind, it learns mainly through observation, education, and experience.

On the other hand, the subconscious (that is the subjective mind) is aware of its world, however, not by the means of the five physical senses. It perceives by intuition. Being the storehouse of your memory and throne of your feelings, the subconscious performs the best when your conscious senses are not working. In other words, it is that intelligence that makes itself known when the objective mind is in a sleepy state or let’s say suspended.

Everything that has happened to you happened mainly because those thoughts could hit your subconscious through your belief.

It is therefore very necessary to first correct your thought patterns if in case you have communicated restrictive, limiting or partial concepts to your subconscious mind. The very first thing and the surest way to correct it is by repeatedly giving your subconscious some constructive, harmonious and productive thoughts. As these thoughts and/or ideas are regularly repeated, your subconscious mind accepts them as your truth. Nevertheless, it is the subconscious mind that ultimately plays an important role in forming new and healthier habits of thought and life.

Now since the habitual thinking of our rational mind establishes deep impact in our subconscious, we tend to get what we feed in. If our habitual thoughts are of productive, peaceful, harmonious, constructive, our subconscious mind will respond in a productive, peaceful, harmonious and constructive way. On the contrary, if we have fallen prey to doubt, fear, worry and other destructive forms of ideas and thinking, the only remedy is to recognize the power of our subconscious mind, only then can we attain money, health, freedom, happiness, love and perfect health.

Interestingly, unlike the conscious mind, the subconscious doesn’t make a comparison, it doesn’t reason and assumes things out of itself. This is something which the conscious mind is expert at doing. The subconscious simply reacts to the impressions fed to it by our conscious mind; it neither picks and/or choose, it simply takes what it is fed with.

Now that you are the captain of your soul (subconscious mind) and so that of your fate, remember you as an individual despite what your current situation is, have the power and capacity to choose. So, Choose life! Choose Abundance! Choose Love! Choose Health! Choose Prosperity! and thereby all the blessings of life simply by tuning the subconscious in the right direction.
