Know How ISIS Is Justifying Rape & Sex Slavery under the Cloak of Islam

The crime by ISIS on Yazidi woman is not just brutal but inhuman. Many of the survivors of their sexual assault are now revealing how the terror group has been trading Yazidi women as sex slave, abusing them and even committing organized rape. Few months ago, Nadia Murad Basee Taha also a Nobel Peace Prize Nominee described the terrified ordeal of Yazidi women by narrating how she and others were imprisoned and sexually assaulted by the Islamic state fighters under sex slavery.

While the entire humanity is shocked to hear about such ordeal against the innocent Yazidi women, the Islamic State is justifying rape and crime against women. In fact, they are defending their action against women on religious grounds, saying that whatever they are doing is according to the Shariah laws.

Sex Slavery: According to ISIS Fighters Islam Allows Them to Enslave Non-Muslims

Dafiq, the online English magazine of ISIS justifies their act of injustice towards the Yazidis.  According to them enslaving unbelievers (kuffar) and taking their girls/women as slaves and concubines is an established deed of the Islamic law. Also, if anyone mock or deny, he would be mocking or denying the narrations of the Prophet and the verses of the Holy Qur’an.

Radicalism Disguised Under the Cloak of Religion Islam

Before raping a 12-year-old Yazidi girl, the Islamic state militant explained the girl that whatever he is doing is not a sin. He insisted that the since the girl practiced another religion and not Islam, the Quran not only gives him the right to rape her but also encourages it. This militant prayed before raping the little girl and even told her how Islam allows sex slavery and even gives permission to him and others to rape a non-believer like her. He said by raping her he is drawing closer to Allah.

Another victim told New York Times, how her captor prayed every time he raped her. And while raping her, he kept on saying that it is ibadah (meaning worship). The ISIS captor told the girl that it is his form of prayer to his God. When she resisted and said his act won’t bring him close to his God, he said, it will as it is an act of halal.

Sex Slavery in ISIS: Any Captured Non-Muslim Woman Will Become Muslim If She Is Raped 10 Times

One of the Yazidi victim mentioned how her captor raped her by declaring, ‘any captured non-Muslim woman will become Muslim if the Muslim militants rape her’ before passing her to 11 others.  Whatever her captor uttered was written in a letter which had an ISIS stamp and a photo of Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi. Sex slavery and rape is one of the many brutal truth of the ISIS theology. Males who do not convert to Islam are killed and females are the spoils of the war.

However, all this theory of ISIS of sex slavery and sexual assault has been condemned by the theologians all over the world. According to them, the action of Islamic State has no place in Islam. In fact, whatever they are doing is anti-Islam because taking anyone as captive and using them as sex slaves by assaulting them or torturing them is totally prohibited in Islam.
