The Political Party Had Approached Gurmeet Ram Rahim During Haryana Elections in Oct’14
Not long ago the BJP top brass had sought the aid of the self-appointed ‘Messenger of God’ during Haryana elections (October 2014) even after knowing the fact that Singh has serious allegations of rape and murder on his head. According to Economic Times report, a week before the Haryana elections, 44 BJP candidates along with Kailash Vijayvargiya (MP’s Urban Development Minister) met Ram Rahim to seek his blessings. (Check out the ABP Sanjha Video) Interestingly, before this group met, BJP’s top leader Amit Shah had already sought the blessings of this controversial baba.
Post this meeting the Dera Sacha Sauda leader openly asked his followers to vote for BJP.

While supporters have argued that Ram Rahim wasn’t convicted then, one shouldn’t dismiss the fact that even then he was accused of several serious offences including rape (it has been there since 2002) and forcing his male followers to get castrated.

But then none of the political party members had no reservations in seeking the approbation of the so-called Pitaji for huge votes.
The Haryana election 2014 wasn’t the only time BJP sought the help of this Sirsa based self-proclaimed baba. The same thing repeated during Delhi assembly elections in February 2015.

According to news report, three BJP state ministers in Haryana — Anil Vij, Ram Bilas Sharma and Manish Grover together have gifted Ram Rahim Singh around Rs 1.12 crore.
