Every year millions of talents are hired from many reputed Universities and world class institutions of India. All these new age managers are hired on the basis of parameters like attitude, intelligence and SMART project work and then the corporates used to train them in specific job skills where there are supposed to add gimmick through their digitally geared intelligence.
But their real picture after recruitment changes once you get into large scale organizations which are still following the government methods of functioning.
This is like an Aam Aadmi entering into Bigg Boss 10 series hosted by Salman Khan and facing many political mushkil like Fawad Khan and KJo prior to ADHM. You would immediately get an old monster at the top who never feels giving any gratitude to your smart work and believes in buttering and no time for creativity-almost ready to steal all your credits and you have to give a smiling nod.
Stupidity is the New Smart in Indian Workplace
You are supposed to do some routine work which is again too pathetic. After working for a long span, suddenly you realise that you are now fit for leadership roles and stupidity becomes a gate pass to these positions. All you have to do is show and promise moons and stars in form lucrative power points and the big shots are happy with these fictitious figures.
Innovations are just a myth and are quite hard to find. There is a proverb if you want to raise your income, then you have three options work, steal or produce. Because of these dull tasks, if you become vocal then HR is there to issue you a SOFT WARNING -This is the way we use to work, policies cannot be deviated. Stick to it else you can say sorry or we can say sorry. Obey or perish.
So just shut your brains next time you step into your offices and workplaces. Put it in mute mode. Hierarchy! Creative ideas are no longer valid. Hence many people are paving their ways into entrepreneurship or start-ups.
This is the reason why Ravinder Singh or Chetan Bhagat might have left lucrative Infosys or banking jobs. But being a professor, I have understood this trick of not showing creativity and behaving like a Dumbo.

Hence I am gonna make my rest of the career – best of the career. Will you adopt my new smart technique? “Stupidity is the New Smart in Indian workplace” because everybody may not have that inborn businessman or Entrepreneurship spirit. It requires lots of hardships.
To be successful as a commerce doyen is not so easy. But you can fool many bosses by applying the above techniques. Loads and tonnes of success! Awards and Accolades! Management’s Blue-eyed Boy! I can promise you all.
